All Saints Scholarship – Application Form
ALL SAINTS SCHOLARSHIP - GUIDELINES FOR ELIGIBILITY AND AWARD
1. Applicant must be a member of First Congregational Church, Cheshire or an active
participant in the life of the church.
2. Applications must be thoroughly completed to be considered. Application to include:
1) Completed application form
2) Letter of recommendation from church member (not a member of the applicant’s
family but may be from a member of church staff)
3) Letter of acceptance to program or school
3. Applications must be received by the church office no later than May 15.
4. Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the awardee.
5. Information in the application may be shared during awards presentations.
6. The amount awarded to recipients will be dependent upon the amount available in any
given year and on the number and qualifications of selected recipients, participation in
church activities and on personal merit.
7. Scholarships to graduating seniors will be presented in church on Senior Recognition
Sunday. Otherwise, recipients will be notified by letter. Scholarship checks will be paid to
the applicant and notification of change of plans or non-attendance should be made to the
committee prior to issuance of checks in mid-July.
8. This form may be filled out electronically and e-mailed to or printed out and mailed or
hand delivered to the Church office.
9. Scholarship recipients are responsible for notifying First Congregational Church, Cheshire
immediately if changes affecting information in the application occur prior to beginning of
the academic year.
