An Applied Behavior Analysis Center of Excellence (COE) is an individual, evaluating and prescribing provider per WAC 182-531A-0800. The following professions are considered COE
providers:
• A developmental pediatrician
• A neurologist or pediatric neurologist
• A psychiatrist or pediatric psychiatrist
• A psychologist
• OR a nurse practitioner, physician, physician assistant or naturopathic physician that has been designated by the Heath Care Authority as a COE provider and listed below
All qualified providers may not be included on the COE list below. Check with your primary care providers about a referral for these professions.
Enrollees with a managed care plan, please contact the plan for assistance with finding a Center of Excellence (COE) provider and/or Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) provider in network.
