Participant Restrictions

Businesses, Non-Profits, Government Units, Schools and other Organizations are prohibited by

the Ohio EPA from dropping off any hazardous waste material (except electronics, fluorescent

bulbs and general recyclables).

 Ammunition, Explosives and Fireworks (contact local law enforcement)



Appliances of all types (except microwaves)

 Asbestos in any form (loose or encapsulated) (call Republic Services)

 Biomedical/Infectious Waste



Carbon dioxide cylinders/unknown cylinders/pesticide or insecticide cylinders, scuba

tanks, larger than 160z freon cylinders

 Construction & Demolition Debris—Shingles, Lumber, Railroad Ties, Carpeting, Floor

Tiles, Drywall, Metal and Vinyl Siding, etc.

 Dishware, ceramics, glass ware, mirrors

 Non-fluorescent lamps (incandescent lamps, spotlights, headlights, etc.)

 Prescription Medications (contact local law enforcement)
