ERIC MORRIS Director
Eric is grateful to be celebrating
the reopening of the Old Log Theatre
with this tremendous show. Eric
directed Old Log’s critically acclaimed
production of A Gentleman’s Guide to
Love & Murder. Other Old Log directing
credits include Ghost: The Musical,
Lend Lend Me a Tenor, Tenderly: The
Rosemary Clooney Musical, The Dixie Swim Club, How I
Became a Pirate, Winnie-the-Pooh, and The Emperor’s New
Clothes. As an actor in the Twin Cities, Eric has performed in
Guys & Dolls at the Guthrie Theater, The Bridges of Madison
County at Artistry Theater, and Assassins at Theatre Latte Da.
Other Twin Cities collaborators: Old Log Theatre, History
Theater, Mill City Summer Opera, Nautilus Music-Theater,
Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, and Second Fiddle Productions.
Regional collaborators: Dayton Opera, Beef & Boards, Gallery
Players, and the Heritage Theatre Festival. Eric spent this
summer in Michigan at the Barn Theatre for their historic 75
th
season. He appeared in 9 to 5, Mamma Mia, and The
Wedding Singer. Eric also directed their production of
SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical. Eric holds a
BFA in Musical Theater from Ithaca College.
ERIK PAULSON Scenic/Lighting Designer
As resident Designer, Erik
has enjoyed inventing the
visual worlds of the plays
at Old Log over the past
eight seasons. Before
collaborating on this stage,
Erik designed regionally
and locally including Palm Beach Opera, Repertory
Theatre of St. Louis, Great River Shakespeare
Festival, Madison Opera, History Theatre, Park
Square, Nautilus Music- Theater and Minnetonka
Theatre. He is proud to be a founding member of
the Great River Shakespeare Festival. Erik shares his
home in Minneapolis with his lovely wife and son.
