920A prerequisites (Active Component):
Must be a SGT (P) or above.
Be an ALC graduate in MOS 92Y (or be an ALC graduate in MOS 68J with experience equivalent to
a 92Y).
Must have at least five years’ experience performing 92Y duties (or performing 68J duties that are
equivalent to that of a 92Y).
Must score at the 12th grade level on the Language portion of the Test for Adult Basic Education
(TABE); the current TABE version 11/12 A is the only acceptable version. Soldiers are exempt from
this requirement if they have completed 6 credit hours of College English/CLEP.
Must have completed the Global Combat Support System Army Training and Certification (Basic
Navigation, Unit Supply & Property Book); provide Certificate
Provide copies of all NCOERs; the majority of the Soldier's NCOERS must be noted with
"Successful" performance and "Superior potential by the Senior Rater or "Exceeded Standard"
performance by the Rater and "Highly Qualified" potential by the Senior Rater, depending on which
version of the NCOER is in the Soldier's packet.
Submit USAREC FORM 3.3 (Letter of Recommendation) from a Property Accounting Technician
(CW2-CW5), assigned to the Soldier’s organization, that attests to their technical and tactical
competence in MOS 92Y. If no Property Accounting Technician is assigned, provide a letter of
recommendation from another Quartermaster Warrant Officer (e.g. 920B, 921A, 922A, or 923A)
assigned to the Soldier’s organization/installation.
920A prerequisites (Reserve Component):
Must be a SGT or above.
Be an ALC graduate in MOS 92Y (waiverable on a case-by-case basis).
Have at least five years of documented experience in MOS 92Y. Military Technician, Government
Contract, and other civilian job experiences that correlate with the feeder MOSs will be considered
for all Army National Guard and US Army Reserve Soldiers.
Must score at the 12th grade level on the English portion (Language) of the Test for Adult Basic
Education (TABE); the current TABE version 11/12 A is the only acceptable version. Soldiers are
exempt from this requirement if they have completed 6 credit hours of College English/CLEP.
