Shipping Options
Find the best and cheapest option for shipping in your region. If you are selling in
RU, the following link can help.
Make sure you have everything you need: boxes, tape, bubble wrap and any
anything else
Handling Time The number of business days between when you receive payment
for an item and when that package is scanned by your shipping carrier. You can
choose from same day to three business days.
Pro Tip: Offering same day or 1-day handling times will get you more sales!
Delivery Methods
Whether you are selling on ebay.com or ebay.co.uk, you will always need to offer Domestic Shipping.
This means that in the US, you will have to be able to send parcels to the USA, in the UK to the United
Kingdom, etc.
You can select 3 types of shipping methods:
Free shipping: you pay for shipping by absorbing the cost in the item price
Calculated shipping: buyers pay a variable rate based on item weight, delivery service, and location
Flat shipping: a fixed rate is charged to all buyers regardless of location and weight
Select which Carrier(s) you will be working with
Calculate your shipping costs with eBay’s Shipping Calculator
Important Tips
Offer free shipping, even if it means carrying the price
on to the item itself;
Give customers the option of choosing expedited
shipping for an extra cost;
Make sure you offer only in-stock items;
Minimize handling days as much as possible;
Upload Tracking Numbers whenever possible;
Use eBay’s Shipping Labels

Product Identifiers
Choosing products and categories:
Find your product enter the product name or
one of the product identifiers.
Category eBay will offer you relevant
categories
Choosing products You will be offered
different products from eBay’s catalogue that
are similar to the product you typed in.
Found it? We recommend that you choose
from the list of products on eBay’s catalogue.
The advantage is that much of the information
is already present, resulting in simpler listing
upload.
Strong Title
The title is the first thing a viewer will see when
looking through listings. A strong title helps place
your item higher and increases the chance of a buyer
finding it. A strong title should contain:
Brand;
Model;
Color;
Style;
Model Number
e.g.
Nike Air Jordan 1 Pine Green Retro High OG 555088-030
Ann Taylor Womens Sweater Black Size 6
Samsung 88" Smart LED TV with 4K 3D Curved Screen UN88JS9500
Photos
Photos are crucial in the buyer's decision for
purchasing a product
Important Tips
Add as many photos as you can! (up to 12)
Show different angles of your product
Specifically show if there are flaws or issues
Avoid special filters, unlicensed photos,
watermarks
Pro Tip: Use the correct image size. Aim for 800-
1400px on the longest side, which will reduce load time
and enable the zoom feature on your listing

Create Business Policy
Catalogue Prep
In our next conversation we will talk about your business policy.
When you upload a listing on eBay you must present details on payments, shipping and return policies.
To simplify this for sellers who have many products, eBay gives the option of creating a business policy
once and set it for multiple listings. This way you save time on setting the policy for each product
separately.
1. Click on My eBay > Account tab > Business Policies;
Create a Business Policy
2. Click on Create Policy and choose the policy you want to set.
3. Give your policy a clear name, for example: Spring new collection shipping policy. Add a
description to help you and the buyers understand the main features of this policy.
4. Fill in additional details about the policy and click on Save.
Create a Business Policy
5. After saving the policy, you can choose it every time you upload a listing and save yourself the need
to re-type all of the details.
